How do you change a fuel filter on a 1997 Honda Accord?

I have a four-cylinder Honda Accord that needs a new fuel filter. I have the fuel filter, and have been told that it’s fairly easy, but I can’t find the fuel line under the car. Does anyone know of a website to show me how, or can someone walk me through? Thanks!

What is airplane fuel made of and can I use it in my car, or more specifically, my vespa scooter?

My friend bought airplane fuel for his Vespa scooter. I heard that airplane fuel is leaded to increase the octane rating, but wouldn’t that clog the engine and particularly the catalytic converter? Is there a way around this? He has heard of it done before, and that it increases accelteration and high end.

How or can a new fuel pump stop working in an unused vehicle?

I have a van that had a new fuel pump replaced on it approx. 1 yr ago. In that time the van only have been driven ~20 miles. It has been started on a regular basics and been driven up and down the driveway monthly. After replacing the battery, again, I returned the car to the original mechanic who said that although I have not driven the van much that the fuel pump could have gone bad because of the minimum use of the vehicle which doesn’t make much sense to me. I can fully understand a battery or even a tire going bad for non-used but a fuel pump? How or can this even be true?

I checked on mapquest for stations that produce alternative fuels and I only found one station in south florida that carries biodiesel fuel. That particular station is far from where I live, so how can we get one in our area? Also, do cars need any modifications for this alternative fuel?

For example, Jumbo Jet. To get from the ground to, say, 1,000 feet, 5,000 feet, etc and to cruising altitude of 35,000 feet. How much fuel used to get to each level, and how much as a percentage of the full fuel load ?

Does a fuel pump on a car send fuel to the engine all the time or just when you first start the car?

Why does fuel consumption in a typical turbofan engine decrease with altitude increase?

Why is it that when a aircraft is higher up, such as at FL360, it uses less fuel than if it were at FL180. Please note that the engine power setting is the same. Example 65% for both cases.

I believe a jet engine compresses air, hence why it is more effective at high altitudes. So if it compresses air before ignition, wouldn’t that mean you would still need just as much gas as when you were lower down?—(talking about fuel/air mix ratio here.)

How much fuel would you save driving on two half tanks of fuel rather than one full tank?

We all know that more weight requires more energy to move it. If a car has more fuel in it, it has more weight, hence more energy, hence more fuel required to move it.
Ignoring all other factors such as more trips to the fuel pump and driving conditions etc, how much fuel would you save by using to half tanks of fuel opposed to one full tank?
Lets assume a 50 litre tank and a car that goes to 35mpg (imperial gallon)

I recently flew from Montana to Chicago, around 850 miles. I noticed when the fuel truck was filling up the plane, it had a gauge showing how much fuel was put in. The final number was 1407. I could tell if that was 140.7 gallons or 1407 gallons. How many gallons does an average airplane hold? I was in a smaller plane, prob held around 50 people, it was a United plane if that helps.

How do I check to see if my fuel injectors are getting fire?

John S asked:
The car is an 89 chevrolet cavalier 2.8 multi-port fuel injection system. It has a new fuel pump, new coil module, and is not getting fuel to run. Fuel pump pressure is good, when car sets for awhile it will try to crank. The car has went from running great to stalling while running down the road. The problem has gotten worse to the point where if it sets overnight, pressure seems to be getting enough vapor to allow the car to fire one time. Using started fluid or dumping fuel directly into the throttle control will make the car try to crank, but as soon as it runs out, it refuses to crank. So I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a fuel injector problem. I just need to know how to check and see if they’re getting fire. Any other suggestions to what may be wrong are welcome.
The injector is a cellonoid switch that has wires plugged into it. When an electircal pulse is sent to it, it opens, which allows gas thats pressured from the fuel rain to ****** through the injector. The electrical signals that supplyl voltage to all 6 injectors gets fire/ a current from somewhere. Fuel pump has been replaced, fuel pump pressure is normal, filter is clean, pressure regulator is holding steady at 43 lbs. Overnight it will hold to 15 lbs. Spark plugs fire is excellent. No fuel is getting through the injectors, possible because of no current operating them. I thought the voltage that works the injectors comes from the ingnition control module. This has been replaced. To check voltage at each injector, wire connectors for voltage, what is the procedure?
